🚒 Exciting News for Klamath County Fire District #3! 🚒

We are proud to announce that Klamath County Fire District #3 has been awarded a Seismic Rehabilitation Grant through Business Oregon in the amount of $1,675,840 to rebuild our existing station.

This funding will allow us to build a modern, resilient fire station that will better serve our community and help ensure emergency services remain operational following a major seismic event or other disaster.

Over the coming months, we will be working with architects and engineers to complete the design of the new station. Design and engineering work will continue through the summer and fall before the project is put out for competitive bid. Construction is expected to be completed by fall 2027.

This project represents a major investment in the safety of our firefighters, emergency responders, and the communities serve. We are grateful to Business Oregon and the Seismic Rehabilitation Grant Program for their support in helping us strengthen our emergency response infrastructure for future generations.

Due to current and expected weather conditions as well as current fuel moisture levels, open debris burning on all District 3 protected land is now prohibited.

Small cooking / warming fires are still currently allowed providing you follow regulations and use caution.
