Join Taliesin Preservation for A Day At Taliesin on Saturday June 6th from 12-4pm!

Immerse yourself in the world of the Taliesin estate on June 6th, 2026, with a celebration of all things that make Taliesin special!
Included with your registration:
Enjoy an independent walking tour and scavenger hunt of the Taliesin property, including exterior access to Tan-y-Deri and Midway Barn, interior access to an apprentice-designed cottage, and the Kitchen Garden.
Tours of Hillside School and the Kitchen Garden will be happening hourly!
Stop by Hillside Drafting Studio for crafts and activities
Play lawn games and relax with a picnic on the Hillside School lawn (or the Hillside Dining Room, in the event of inclement weather).

Food will be available for purchase from Riverview Terrace Cafe. Guests have the option of pre-ordering a picnic box at check-out or purchasing from our cookout stand day-of. Guests are also welcome to bring a picnic lunch from home.
Wrap up the day at 4:00pm with a bluegrass concert in the historic Hillside Theater!
Space is limited! Pre-registration is highly recommended.
During check-out, guests will receive access to discounted pricing for Guided House and Self-Paced House Tours on June 6th!

At Taliesin, the art of learning to see is everything. You may think you know the buildings or the sweeping circular panoramas of the Wisconsin hills from books and postcards, but it’s only in person—in the immersion of place, the way buildings settle into the landscape, and the quiet moments of discovery inside studios and living spaces—that perspective becomes something deeper.

Starting this month, the full estate is open for tours. Enjoy not just the house, but the grounds, studios, gathering spaces, all while you learn about the stories that shaped life at Taliesin.

This year’s tour experiences were shaped by visitor feedback and months of thoughtful planning, with reimagined routes and immersive new moments centered on life, learning, and creativity across the estate.

On the Estate Tour, guests can enjoy a snack where the Fellowship gathered for meals. On the Estate and Highlights tours visitors can explore the newly refreshed Hillside Drafting Studio featuring archival renderings, LPs found in photographs, and even a Spotify playlist inspired by the era.

Next week, Dal Niente heads to Wisconsin for a pair of unique shows at Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin. Wright’s home, studio, and garden sanctuary embodies Wright’s ideas of organic architecture. Ensemble members Alejandro Acierto, Caitlin Edwards, Emma Hospelhorn, and Jesse Langen present two location-specific performances that respond directly to Wright’s ideas of compression, expansion, and space.

🎶 On Saturday evening, guests are invited to move through various spaces within Wright’s main residence where members of Dal Niente will offer site-specific instrumental improvisations – spontaneous musical dialogues that respond directly to each room’s acoustics, design, and atmosphere.

🎶 Then, join us for a special Sunday afternoon concert in the historic Hillside Theater at Taliesin. Featuring works by Igor Santos, Misato Mochizuki, Fausto Romitelli, and more, this performance offers an opportunity to experience the ensemble’s distinctive and boundary-pushing musical voice within one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s most acoustically and architecturally compelling spaces.
