NON VIOLANT FELONS
This petition could be a way for the state to make additional funding and for the convicted to prove that they can become a viable member of society.
1- After 1 year of release from supervision or release from incarceration the person is eligible for restoration of their civil rights and pay a 500.00 dollar filing fee. The 500.00’s should accompany the application otherwise application will be considered incomplete.
2- After 2 years of release from supervision or release from incarceration the person is eligible for restoration of their gun rights for in home protection only and pay a 500.00 dollar filing fee. The 500.00’s should accompany the application otherwise application will be considered incomplete.
3- Before the 5 years are up and in order to be considered for full restoration of gun rights, applicant must complete a state approved gun safety course and provide certificate of completion.
4- After 5 years of release from supervision or release from incarceration the person is eligible for restoration of their gun rights for full protection under law of the 2nd amendment right
