This petition could be a way for the state to make additional funding and for the convicted to prove that they can become a viable member of society.
1- After 1 year of release from supervision or release from incarceration the person is eligible for restoration of their civil rights and pay a 500.00 dollar filing fee. The 500.00’s should accompany the application otherwise application will be considered incomplete.
2- After 2 years of release from supervision or release from incarceration the person is eligible for restoration of their gun rights for in home protection only and pay a 500.00 dollar filing fee. The 500.00’s should accompany the application otherwise application will be considered incomplete.
3- Before the 5 years are up and in order to be considered for full restoration of gun rights, applicant must complete a state approved gun safety course and provide certificate of completion.
4- After 5 years of release from supervision or release from incarceration the person is eligible for restoration of their gun rights for full protection under law of the 2nd amendment right

how come you do a crime yes that was wrong but then you pay your debt to society and then you have to fight for your human right like your civil right and your 2nd amendment rights. the law states they cant be infringed upon but the goverment takes them away anyways.....

they are my human right and shouldnt be taken. Only suspended while incarcerated but the when your releast they should be restored
