🇺🇸🎉 A Special Surprise for a Dedicated Penns Valley Employee! 🎉🇺🇸

Today, while meeting in the conference room at Centre Hall Elementary, we received an unexpected visitor—State Representative Kerry Benninghoff!

Representative Benninghoff stopped by to honor John Devinney on his final day with the Penns Valley Area School District and to recognize his many years of dedicated service to our students, staff, and community.

As part of the recognition, John was presented with a Pennsylvania State Flag that was flown over the Pennsylvania Capitol on May 22 in honor of his retirement. Along with the flag, he received an official certificate verifying its authenticity, signed by both Representative Benninghoff and Governor Josh Shapiro.

Representative Benninghoff also presented John with a Certificate of Recognition (Citation) on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, recognizing his years of service and commitment to Penns Valley Area School District.

Please join us in congratulating John on this well-deserved honor and thanking him for his many years of dedicated service to Penns Valley. We wish him all the best in his retirement!

Our summer camps from this past week have officially wrapped up, and it’s safe to say the kids had an absolute blast! 😄🎉 From learning new skills to making memories with friends, it was a fantastic week filled with fun, teamwork, and Ram Pride! 💪🐏

Today, we were honored to welcome members of the Penns Valley Class of 1976 back to campus as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of their graduation! 🐏💙

Our guests had the opportunity to tour the school alongside current students and see firsthand the many changes and transformations that have taken place over the past five decades. From new learning spaces to updated facilities, it was a wonderful chance to reflect on Penns Valley’s rich history while looking toward the future.
