Last night was a night of many emotions for all of us at the Spring Valley Fire Protection District. We had to say farewell to a staple of Spring Valley Fire, Scott “Scotty” Shilkuski. Scotty retired from the Spring Valley Fire Protection District as a firefighter, first responder, and our safety officer, after 35 years of proud and dedicated service. Scotty is retiring to his new home in Indiana and continuing with his passion for racing. We will all miss you very much, Scotty! We will always remember to stay hydrated and be aware of our surroundings! Enjoy your much deserved retirement!
