SAVED, LOVED, AND REJOICED OVER
It is comforting to know that God is not far off somewhere, but is right here with us in the middle of our everyday lives.

The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

Zephaniah reminds us that the Lord is with us, and that changes everything. Whatever we face, uncertainty, fear, or exhaustion, we never have to go through it alone. God stands right beside us, supporting and loving us all the way.

This verse presents a beautiful picture of God’s heart. He delights in us with gladness. When God looks at you, He does not see someone who has failed or fallen short; He sees His loved child. The same God who created the universe sings over you with joy. Imagine, heaven’s song is for you!

Life can get noisy and overwhelming, with worries, pressures, and fears that keep us up at night, but God’s love is bigger than all of that. His love speaks louder than shame, is stronger than our worries, and reaches deeper than any hurt. In His presence, our hearts can finally rest and find true peace.

God is always there to save us, lifting us out of despair, filling us with hope, and gently guiding us back whenever we drift away.

Take a moment to breathe in the truth that God is with you right now, singing over you and wrapping you in His unshakable love. Let His song quiet your heart and fill you with peace only He can give.

FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT
Living out our faith is not always easy. Paul understood this, which is why he encouraged Timothy, and all of us, to persevere and fight the good fight of faith.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12

Notice that word: fight. That means there will be times when things are tough, when we feel tired, distracted, or even discouraged.

To lay hold on eternal life means to grab hold of the promise that is already ours in Christ. It is not about earning our salvation, it is about living in a way that shows the reality of that salvation. Paul encourages us to stay focused on what matters most, especially when life becomes complicated or our faith is challenged.

We have all had moments when we feel like giving up, when doubts creep in or when life feels heavier than we can handle. But the good fight of faith reminds us we’re never alone in this. God gives us His Spirit, His Word, and people around us to encourage and strengthen us. Every time we choose to trust Him, obey Him, and stand firm in His promises, we are doing well!

Paul also points out that Timothy had confessed the good confession. That means Timothy had publicly shared his faith, just like many of us have. That confession comes with responsibility. People notice. Our words and actions can help point others to Jesus. The fight of faith is not just for us, it is also a way to encourage others.

Keep going. Keep believing, even when it is hard. Eternal life is the prize, and God is faithful, He will see you through.

I was in Oklahoma City Friday with my niece and nephew. We were at the service station. Man I spoke to this elderly lady , man she looked me up and down, and some people at the pump was staring me down big time. I Said to myself what’s going on. So I had to take a look at myself than I said naw man , this can’t be, Here I am in the middle of Oklahoma City fully dressed from head to toe with Golden State Warriors outfit. Everywhere I went they stared me down. My nephew said unk you might have to stay in the house.
