Happy National School Custodian Day!

Today we’re celebrating the incredible custodians who keep Jones PREP Academy clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for learning every single day! Your hard work often happens behind the scenes, but it makes a HUGE difference in our school community.

We truly would CRUMBL without you!

Thank you for all you do for our students, staff, and school family. We appreciate you more than you know!

Fall has officially arrived at Jones PREP!

This week in Integrated Specials, our Aviators celebrated the first full week of fall with the delightful story “The Leaf Thief”!

After reading the book, students got hands-on as they painted and created with leaves, practiced leaf identification, and even built their own grabbers to help Squirrel reach those just-out-of-reach nuts!

Learning, creating, exploring, and having a little fall fun along the way, that’s a perfect week at Jones PREP!

Our Aviators wrapped up National Preparedness Month with Mr. Henry from the American Red Cross ! Through the “Prepare with Pedro” program, students heard stories, worked together, and practiced skills to prepare for emergencies and stay safe.

Families can keep the learning going at home:
Be informed: Sign up for local emergency alerts.
Make a plan: Discuss how your family will communicate, where you will meet, and how to include pets.
Build a kit: Gather water, shelf-stable food, first-aid supplies, and essential medications.
Get involved: Practice your plan together and learn more about emergency preparedness.

Thank you, Mr. Henry, for helping our Aviators build confidence and safety skills!

Some of the most important learning at Jones PREP Academy happens beyond the pages of a textbook.

Our Aviators come to us from schools all across the district, bringing different stories and experiences with them. Watching these two young ladies form a new friendship is a sweet reminder that we’re building social skills alongside academic skills every day.

Learning how to connect, communicate, encourage one another, and simply be a good friend matters. At Jones PREP, we’re growing together, and no one flies alone.

We love seeing our Aviator crew join in the fun while helping our students learn about the freedoms, history, and principles that shape our country. ❤️🤍💙

What an incredible day for our team and one of our Aviators! 💙✈️

A HUGE thank you to Champions for Kids, Walmart Home Team, Food Team, and Toy Team, Sam's Club and Legacy Retail Solutions and of course Adelaide Schaeffer for making today so special!

Today was especially meaningful for Aviator who had the opportunity to attend, participate in games, and take home some wonderful gifts! Seeing the joy and excitement on her face was a beautiful reminder of the difference a caring community can make.

We are so thankful to live in a community that truly LOVES and SUPPORTS kids! Thank you for investing in our students and creating memories they will treasure!

Play is powerful learning!

At Jones PREP Academy, we believe play is an essential part of a child’s growth and development! Every opportunity to climb, explore, and play helps our students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, strengthen friendships, and practice important social and emotional skills.

Our Aviators LOVE their time to climb, play, and just be kids!

Sometimes the most meaningful learning happens outside the classroom, where imagination takes flight and every new challenge is an opportunity to grow!

No one flies alone!
