I don’t even have the words to explain what this last week at Itty Bitty City has meant to me. 💛

This place has been my dream, my heart, my second home… and all of you filled it with life. The sound of kids giggling, the little hands building, pretending, creating… those moments are forever etched into my soul.

This last week, you showed up with love, with hugs, with kind words, and with your children—who have grown right alongside this place. Watching them play here one last time was bittersweet beyond measure.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your family’s memories. Thank you for believing in a little dream called Itty Bitty City. And thank you for giving me the most beautiful, love-filled farewell I could have ever imagined.

Itty Bitty City may be closing its doors, but the memories, the laughter, and the love will live in me forever. 🥹💛

I have sat down to write this more times than I can count, and still the words never feel like enough. This place has been so much more than just a business—it has been my dream, my heart, and my baby.

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I share that August 31st will be our last day of operations at Itty Bitty City.

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of watching your children learn, laugh, pretend, and grow inside these walls. I’ve seen friendships bloom, imaginations run wild, and countless special memories made. Those memories will forever be some of my most treasured.

To every family who walked through our doors, thank you. Thank you for letting me be part of your little one’s childhood, for believing in this dream of mine, and for filling Itty Bitty City with so much love and joy.

Before we say goodbye, we would love for you to come play with us one more time. Stop in during our final week, share a smile, take a photo, and make one last memory here together. Let’s send Itty Bitty City off the way it was always meant to be—filled with laughter and joy.

Itty Bitty City is a safe, educational place for children to play. Play areas include a village with a fire station, school house, grocery store, cafe, vet hospital, and light factory; a water table with several different manipulatives; an art and science studio with changing activities; a soft play area for ages 1 and younger; a stage with costumes, puppets, and music, and more! We are also excited to provide birthday parties, classes, field trips, and special events.

Itty Bitty City is locally owned and family operated. We opened our doors in October of 2016 and have been open 361 days per year since then! In 2018 we began our partnership with Parents’ Cooperative Preschool to house their preschool program, which has been in operation in Springfield for over 40 years.

We also have a small, but mighty Toy Shop at Itty Bitty City that features many of the toys that children play with in The City. We carry toys from Melissa & Doug, Green Toys, Picasso Tiles, Haba, Janod, and more, priced from $0.50 to $150.
