It's with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Chip Gass (William “Chip” Camden Gass II) of Springfield, IL. Chip was a member of GSD and steadfast supporter of candidates for local office. He was no stranger to a righteous cause, so his friendship will be missed in many organizations. His services are Saturday, January 11 at Butler Funeral Home.

Another fun Holiday Party! Fried chicken and karaoke was this year’s recipe for good times. Many of our merry band had already eaten and left when a break in the karaoke allowed for this snap. We were electeds, former candidates, a current school board candidate, precinct committee people, and hard working supporters! Brown’s is getting a facelift in case you think it looks brighter.
