Safeway prepared to serve 40,000 people at the Lane County Fair, with 2,100 pounds of pancake mix and 3,000 pounds of sausage.

Thank you, Springfield Police Department - Oregon for all the work to put together National Night Out yesterday. Thank you to the community partners from Willamalane Park and Recreation District, KidsFirst, Public Works, Food for Lane County, and so many more. It was wonderful seeing so many neighbors connecting with one another, community groups, and first responders.

The Springfield Public Library and History Museum is inviting community members to participate in its 2026 User Survey. The survey will help inform future priorities for programs, collections, exhibits, services, and community initiatives.

Feedback is welcomed from everyone, including frequent visitors, occasional users, and residents who have never visited the Library or History Museum. The survey takes approximately five to 10 minutes to complete and will remain open through August 15.
