Hello Cru Alumni,
Today I make my first post to this page, and hopefully not the last. My name is Adam Roub, and I am currently serving as the Co-Area Team Leader in Mid-MN. My wife Jenny and I have been on staff for 12 years, with 6 of those years being on the SCSU Cru team; serving alongside the Schlepers, and sharing the role of Team Leader with them. For Patrick and I, It was always our desire to have a strong connection to our alumni, and to create lasting partnerships with those of you who have been blessed by the ministry of Cru.
I know how special it is to hear updates from your campus, and to be encouraged by new stories of how God is still working @ SCSU to win students to Christ, build them in their faith, and equip them to reach their world beyond college. Be encouraged friends, God is still working! Which is why I want to get this page us an running again. So that we can share with you stories of God's faithfulness on a campus you hold dear to your hearts.
My and team and I also owe so many of you a sincere, and heartfelt thank you! Why? Because, you have blessed us. You see, whether you are a current partner with a Cru staff, or you pray for our ministry, or you were simply involved when you were a student, and attended Cru some events, you have all played a significant role in helping Cru be on campus. You in part, are the reason we are still here having a ministry to students. Your disciples, invested in other disciples, who invested in more disciples who have kept this ministry vibrant and present at SCSU. The staff have come and gone, but those you invested in learned to live out 2 Timothy 2:2, and have helped keep Cru going.
How I would love track the history of our current students to past generations of SCSU Huskies who invested well here at State.
You hold a great distinction of being an SCSU Cru alumni, so thank you for sharing in our ministry, and for liking this page. Please feel free to post encouraging stories, fond memories, pictures, and updates on you and your family. My team and I hope to keep this page updated with stories from the campus, and opportunities for ways you can be involved with helping SCSU Cru continue to reach people across Mid-MN for years to come.

p.s. For those of you who may not know, Patrick and Tricia Schleper transitioned off staff late last year (2016). Patrick is now serving as the General Manager at the new Chick-Fil-A in St. Cloud. After sensing the Lord's call to transition away from Cru staff, Patrick and Tricia are seeking to live out their calling in a new profession. We greatly miss Patrick and Tricia. I would love to encourage any of you to send them a note of encouragement, letting them know how they blessed you through their ministry over the years. Heather Fry, is now sharing the team leader role with me. And our staff team includes, Jenny and I, Andrew and Emily Paskewitz, Heather and Sid Fry, Chrissy Wilda, David Milhouse, Lauren Makela, and Gabe Sunderland (raising support)
