The statement dated February 18th, 2022, from the City Manager exemplified that dedication to transparent and open communication with citizens.

Tuesday is election day! Webster Groves voters will go to one of five polls: Brentwood Rec Center, WG Library, Bristol elementary school, WG Rec Center, or Edgar Road elementary school. Friends, I wish I could have run the campaign I had planned: meeting with you, hearing your ideas, working together to create community conversations about the issues that matter to you, and explaining my goals for the city. Unfortunately COVID-19 made that campaign impossible. However, election day is coming June 2, and as we forge ahead to a new normal, I need your vote to be at the table representing you. I need your vote to bring increased strategic planning, transparency, communication, diversity, and inclusion to city council operations. Please get out and vote next Tuesday, June 2. Be aware that polling places for many of us will be different on June 2. There will be five polling places for Webster Groves residents: Brentwood Recreation Center, Bristol Elementary, Edgar Road Elementary, Webster Groves Library, and Webster Groves Rec Center. Look for this green post card in your mailbox alerting you to your alternate polling place, or else check your polling place online at: https://www.stlouisco.com/Your-Government/Elections/Voting-in-StLouis-County

Make sure you are checking your mailbox! Green post cards have been sent out to everyone whose assigned polling location has changed. Many people's polling places will be different for the June 2 Municipal Election as many buildings are currently unavailable for public use. You can also check your polling place online by using our Polling Place/Sample Ballot look-up app: https://arcg.is/1iOD5L

No matter who you vote for on June 2, I want to remind you to vote. Your privilege is sacred. As of now, you have about one week left to request an absentee ballot from the County. You can fill in your information at this link, and submit via email or any other method listed. If you select the second listed reason, "confinement due to illness or caring for someone with illness" as your reason to vote absentee, you DO NOT need to have your application or ballot notarized. Simply submit the application for absentee ballot by 5pm on May 20, and once you receive your ballot, complete it and return it by mail. You can also request a ballot for a parent or other relative as stipulated.
