Let's talk about HOUSING OPPORTUNITY in Kirkwood!

We are looking for residents who are interested in taking a serious and honest look at what's working, what isn't and what tradeoffs come with change in our City. This group is specifically for people who have questions or concerns about allowing more housing options whether it's density, traffic, parking, stormwater runoff, tree canopy loss, building height or how new development and redevelopment might affect the character of our neighborhood.
This is NOT a sales pitch or pro-development push. It is a structured conversation through Braver Angels, a national nonprofit that specializes in bringing people with differing viewpoints together with the simple goal of understanding what is actually driving people's perspectives, to test assumptions and to see where there is agreement and where there is not.

PLEASE SIGN UP using this link. Share with your friends and contacts--we want a diverse range of opinions and thoughts!

Braver Angels is a national nonprofit dedicated to bridging partisan divides through structured conversations between Americans who disagree. We're convening a working group of Kirkwood residents to discuss the issue of housing: What's working and what isn't. We're specifically looking for residents...

Kirkwood! Last week you SHOWED UP and voted decisively for change. An engaged community is how momentum turns into results. You’ve already shown how much you care about where this city is headed, and we need you to show up again.

On Monday the 13th, 5:30pm at KPAC the city is hosting a “Meet the Candidates” event for our next City Administrator. This role will directly shape how Kirkwood manages its finances and whether the direction voters just demanded actually gets executed.
Bring a friend or two!
Come learn about the candidates. Ask real questions. Get informed!
