Gotsch Intermediate School We serve Grades 3-5 in the Affton School District. Our pages are designed to celebrate the achievements of our students, teachers, staff, and community.

Counselors had a donut celebration Friday morning with students who participated in Spring Attendance groups 🍩 🍩 All of the students pictured improved their attendance over the past 8 weeks! We are incredibly proud of these students for demonstrating exceptional effort, growth, and a positive attitude!

Mrs. Kapfer's class had the most magical morning saying goodbye to some very special friends yesterday. Third graders watched these beauties grow from tiny, wiggly caterpillars through every stage of their transformation. It was finally time for them to spread their wings!

🎒 Next Stop: Rogers Middle School! 🚌
Big things are happening at Gotsch! Yesterday, our 5th graders took their first exciting steps toward middle school during our first RMS Transition Event. It was a day filled with music, helpful advice, and a whole lot of excitement!

✨ Highlights from the Day:
🎶 Harmony in the Halls: A fantastic performance by the RMS Choir.

🎻 Strings & Skills: High school orchestra students shared their talents with live instrument demonstrations.

🗣️ The Inside Scoop: Our students got the real deal during a Q&A session with the RMS Student Ambassadors!

🗺️ The Roadmap: School counselors presented "From GIS to RMS," helping our 5th graders prepare for the journey ahead.

🏫 April 30th (6:00 PM – 7:00 PM): 5th Grade Welcome Night @ RMS
This is the big night for all incoming 6th-grade students and their parents/guardians to explore the school!

🎭 May 14th: Fly Up Day Our 5th graders will head to RMS for a student tour and a special performance of the RMS Spring play!

A huge THANK YOU to the counselors and student leaders from RMS for making our 5th graders feel so welcome. We are so proud of our promoting 5th graders! 🎓✨
