The Crime Victim Center offers many different resources to those who have been direct or indirect victims of crimes.

We offer counseling, legal guidance & services, advocacy, and referrals to anyone who needs it. Our goal is to help individuals move from crisis and resilience and to remember that they are not alone throughout this experience.

Here is a quote from a recent client: "Thank you so much. I’m incredibly appreciative of everything you’ve done for me throughout this process. Your guidance, patience, and support helped me navigate one of the hardest periods of my life, and I truly can’t thank you enough. You’re amazing at what you do, and I feel very lucky to have had you in my corner."

If you or someone you know has been impacted by crime, please give us a call at 314-652-3623 or visit our website supportvictims.org.

Youth don't always have the words to describe how they feel. But they do have play. 🎨

When talking about trauma is too overwhelming or difficult, expression through toys/art are like their words, and play is their language. Play Therapy allows youth to express their internal world, process big emotions, and heal in a space that feels natural and safe. Here at the Crime Victim Center we help to provide that important safe space for those who need it.

Did you know that CVC's legal team goes beyond the St. Louis metro area to serve survivors? 💙

In just the last month, our attorneys have represented clients in Jefferson, Franklin, and Lincoln county courts, showing up for survivors no matter where they are in the region.

If you or someone you know is navigating an Order of Protection hearing in a rural or surrounding county, please know that free, confidential legal help is available to you. You do not have to face this alone and you do not have to figure it out by yourself.

We love any opportunity to share our work with the people who are showing up for children and families every single day. 💙

On May 21st, CVC's own Asia and Kat from our Youth and Family Department presented at the Missouri Academy for Child Trauma Studies (MoACTS) May Speaker Series, giving attendees an in-depth overview of CVC's services and support available to children, youth, and families in our community. From counseling and advocacy to legal assistance and crisis support, they walked the room through how CVC shows up for young people and the families who love them.

Thank you to MoACTS for the invitation and for the important work you do in advancing trauma-informed care for children across our state. We are so proud of Asia and Kat for representing CVC with such knowledge and heart.

If you would like to learn more about CVC's youth and family services, visit supportvictims.org or call 314-652-3623. All services are free and confidential. 💙

We have some exciting news to share. 🎉

The Crime Victim Center has been awarded a $7,500 grant from the TJX Foundation to support our legal representation and assistance program, and we could not be more grateful.

Our legal team shows up for survivors every single day. They secure orders of protection, navigate complex court systems, fight for custody, and stand beside people who could never afford legal help on their own. Every single service is completely free. This grant means we can keep doing that work, for more people, for longer.

Thank you to the TJX Foundation for believing in this mission and for investing in the safety, stability, and future of survivors across St. Louis. We are so honored by this support.

Happy Father’s Day to every father who shows up, every single day, no matter what.

To the fathers who are celebrating today, we see you; to the fathers who are grieving today, or the children who have lost their father, who are carrying the weight of a loss that never fully lifts, we see you too.

At the Crime Victim Center, we show up for families impacted by crime and violence every day of the year. Because every day matters. And every father matters.

If you or someone you love needs support, we are here. Visit supportvictims.org or call 314-652-3623. All services are free and confidential. 💙

This is why we do what we do. 💙

"Crime Victim Center assisted my son and myself in our time of need. I am a domestic violence victim with a child who lives on the spectrum. My attorney at CVC helped keep my ten year order of protection in place even after my abuser tried to have it removed three times. If it were not for Crime Victim Center's legal department, I would still feel unsafe, unsure, and in the unknown. I am very grateful for all that they do and continue to do to keep individuals such as myself safe."

Three attempts to strip away her safety. Three times, our legal team stood in the way.

This is what free legal representation means in real life. It means a mother and her child get to feel safe. It means someone who had every reason to give up kept fighting, because we were fighting alongside her.

All of CVC's legal services are completely free. No fees. No barriers. No police report required.

If you or someone you know needs legal help navigating the justice system as a victim of crime, we are here. 📞 314-664-6699 or supportvictims.org 💙
