Congratulations to District 7B PPOs Jerece McCloud and Marissa Bowden, our Eastern Region Employees of the Month for March!

District 7B PPOs Jerece McCloud and Marissa Bowden were conducting field work in the City of St. Louis. A man on a four-wheeler was driving recklessly through the city, crashed, and was thrown from the four-wheeler. Jerece and Marissa responded to the victim to assist until law enforcement and EMS arrived. Unfortunately, the victim later died as a result of his injuries. While speaking to another client, 7B US Heather Wright was informed that he "saw people helping a man on Grand." She asked for more details, and the client sent a video showing Jerece and Marissa on the phone with emergency personnel and utilizing the first aid kit in the state vehicle to assist the person in need. Their actions are a great display of selflessness, professionalism, and integrity that the Department should take pride in. Not only did they assist someone in need but showed the community that we (the Department) care about their safety.

On 01/05/2026, MECC IPO staff recognized the MECC graduates of the Offenders Offering Alternatives Program which designed to provide individuals on probation with a realistic understanding of prison life prior to incarceration. Participation is earned through approximately one year of training, sustained good conduct, active involvement in work assignments or educational programming, and consistent professionalism with staff. Graduates are entrusted to support this program by honestly demonstrating the importance of accountability, responsibility, and informed decision-making. Their commitment and leadership help ensure the program’s continued impact.

So proud of our collaborative Change for a Change Drive! With NECC Staff, Probation and Parole leading the way, and many other pitching in, $120 was raised for Avenues in Pike County. Thank you to everyone who donated! Every bit truly made a difference.

National Night Out 2025 – Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department

Last night, Probation & Parole Officers Woldolph, Zumwalt and Williams of District 17B-Troy joined the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department for their annual National Night Out at Northroad Church! It was an incredible evening filled with family fun, good food, and great community spirit.

From pumpkin carving and face painting to meeting local first responders, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Events like these highlight the importance of connection—neighbors coming together to build safer, stronger communities.

A huge thank you to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department for hosting such a wonderful event and to everyone who came out to celebrate. Your support and participation make all the difference! 💙
