Fannie Lou Hamer Coalition of St. Louis County FLH Democratic Coalition’s mission is to empower and educate Citizens in St. Louis County on the political process.

The members of the Fannie Lou Hamer Coalition (FLHC) are African American elected officials who are taking extraordinary steps to increase and institutionalize greater social and economic equality in Missouri at the state, county and municipal level. FLHC has formed as a thoughtful political response to the inequality of opportunity that minority communities have suffered in our state. Our purpose

will be to 1) identify, elect and support quality candidates for public office who will fight for the issues important to our community, 2) work from the inside to effect change and steer a progressive agenda as it relates to our community 3) keep our community engaged and educated on issues important to the success of our community and 4) promote economic development and workforce opportunities that benefit our community.
