The Globe & Laurel Restaurant and Pub was established in 1968, by Major Richard T. The restaurant's trademark is it's Marine and Law Enforcement memorabilia and historical artifacts (gifts presented to Rick and his wife Gloria which have been collected and displayed over the years in the restaurant. Rick Spooner aka "The Major" started the Globe and Laurel to provide a place where Marines and Law
Enforcement at Quantico could convene, enjoy a brew and build camaraderie in the tradition of Tun Tavern.
