Dear Community:
We are a local group of service providers focused on navigating the last third of our lives, as we live longer than we ever imagined. We are contacting you to offer our expertise in support of your members as we connect to help make meaning of the aging process.
The current pandemic has highlighted our unpreparedness for the healthcare, financial, and emotional needs of aging individuals and families. We have formed a Last Act Panel for online interactive presentations that are informational and geared toward the specific needs of your community. We can be especially helpful to aging seniors, retiring workers, and caregiving family members.
There is nothing transactional about what we are offering. We are solely interested in helping people understand their choices and options for immediate and future decision making. It’s about inviting people to know more about what’s available and possible; about answering questions, helping solve current problems, planning for the future.
Benefits to your members:
Providing information, resources, a chance to ask questions of experts
Navigating complexity, identifying solutions
Nurturing relationships with local support providers
Reducing anxiety, increasing self-advocacy
Connecting with your community at a time when people are isolated and frightened
Who we are:
We represent local expertise in financial planning, legal issues, wellness and emotional support, end of life decisions, alternative care options, and more. We are forming panels to be available online at a scheduled time to address specific questions, concerns and needs of each interested community. The core team is comprised of:
Diane Ferber, Family Therapist, LMFTA
“Finding your way through uncharted transitions”
Sahara Farrugio, Funeral Director focused on Advanced Planning
“Don’t get caught without a plan”
Shivonne Mathison, Home Care Advisor, MSW
“Keeping you well at home”
We are hoping to support the communities around us during this time of acute and overwhelming uncertainty. Please contact me for further information, to share your needs, and explore how a Last Act Panel can help you help your congregation.
