We just returned from another heating related call. With these brutal frigid temperatures currently gripping our area, your furnace, boiler, or heat pump is working extra hard..often nonstop to keep your home or business warm, putting serious stress on the system and significantly increasing the risk of issues from maintenance neglect. Clogged air filters that restrict airflow, cause overheating, and raise fire or breakdown hazards, along with dirty coils that force the unit to labor even harder, reduce efficiency, and heighten wear during this extreme cold, that can quickly lead to dangerous overheating, poor air quality, or even carbon monoxide risks. Take a quick moment today to check and replace your air filter if it’s dirty, ensure coils are clean and free of buildup, and if you’re unsure how to do it safely, call a licensed HVAC professional. Simple maintenance can prevent emergencies and keep you safe and warm through this deep freeze.

As this storm moves in and conditions deteriorate, please remember that our response time to emergencies may be slower. Do not overload electrical cords with space heaters and keep all objects away from any heat sources.
