Good evening Blue Devil families,
I want to thank you all for an amazing first 2 days of school! It was so good to have our students back in the building and they are certainly off to a great start to our 2026-2027 school year!
Important information has come home with your student this week. Please take a few moments to:
Review the materials and update your contact information, this is very important.
Included in the student packet is also a letter regarding Session Law 2023-128/HB 142, which involves a student safety video we will show tomorrow. Students will need to return a permission slip tomorrow in order to view the video.
Please return all other materials from the packet tomorrow as well.
Thank you for your continued patience with our bus routes and drivers. The beginning of the year often brings longer bus route times and inconsistencies and we appreciate your help while we work this out. We are experiencing a large driver shortage despite efforts to find applicants this summer. Unfortunately this sometimes leaves us with no other option and we have to cancel routes. If you would be interested in driving a bus or may know someone who is, please reach out to Mrs. Williams or Mrs. Rhyne!
We appreciate your partnership in preparing your child for a successful school year, and we are excited about the year ahead! Game On Blue Devils!

Tomorrow is the day, Blue Devils! 💙

We are so excited to welcome our Stanley Middle School students back for the 2026–2027 school year! Our staff is ready and we cannot wait to see our Blue Devils walk through the doors tomorrow morning.

A Few First-Day Reminders:

🏫 Arrival
The building will open at 7:50 AM.
Students should report to breakfast or their homeroom class upon arrival. Staff will be available throughout the building to help students find where they need to go.

🚗 Car Rider Traffic
Please plan for extra time in the morning and afternoon.
Our first few days may be a little slower as students, families, and staff learn the traffic patterns and routines.
Most importantly, please be patient and follow the directions of our staff who will be helping keep traffic moving safely.
Please only drop off and pick up at our designated areas on campus!

🚌 Bus Transportation
Bus routes and pickup times may take a few days to settle into a routine.
Please be prepared for some flexibility during the first week as drivers and students become familiar with their routes.
If you have questions about transportation, please contact our assistant principal, Mrs. Williams.

🏁 Dismissal
Dismissal will begin at 3:30 PM.
Please follow the designated car rider procedures and remain in your vehicle as directed by staff.
The first few afternoons may take longer than normal. We appreciate your patience as we work to get every student home safely.

💙 More Than a First Day
Tomorrow isn't just the first day of another school year. It is the beginning of a new season for our students, a chance to build friendships, discover new interests, challenge themselves, and become the best version of themselves.

At Stanley Middle, we believe every student has a place on our team. We are ready to learn together, support one another, and make this a year to remember.

Good evening Blue Devil Families!
We are so excited about our upcoming school year and wanted to share some important upcoming dates:
Our 6th Graders will have Orientation on Monday, August 10th at 2:30. Doors will open at 2:00. Parents and students will begin with a meeting in the cafeteria and then will be released to visit their teachers. Schedules will be given out during this time. We also encourage you to visit the stations in the lobby to gather more information about our school.
We want to invite our 7th and 8th grade students and families to drop in to our Open House on Monday, August 10th from 4:30-6:00. You will enter in the door labeled with your grade and follow the signs up the stairs to pick up your schedules and visit your teachers. Everyone will exit from the front lobby where there will be stations set up for you to visit for additional information. We will also have bus information available for anyone needing it in the cafeteria.
Our fist day of school for students will be Wednesday, August 12th! Doors will open at 7:50 and the tardy bell rings at 8:30.
Please continue to visit our page as well as our website for other information. Our school supply list is posted on both of these as well.
