Steelton-Highspire Jr./Sr. High School would like to thank Giant Store #6006 and their management team for their partnership with our school. They have worked with our Social worker Sadie Kinnarney and our Spanish Teacher Emanuel Aponte to provide just about 60 Thanksgiving Turkeys to our Roller Families. During a time that could be difficult for many families we have joined forces to make sure they are taken care of. We are looking to continue this partnership through various events and donations provided by Giant! We are grateful for your support and help to give back to our community and we look forward to more opportunities to partner together!

Good Evening Roller Families.
There are many families within our communities that have experienced flooding, downed trees, and power outages as a result of Tropical Depression Ida. Everyone’s safety is our highest priority. With that in mind and since we have the ability to offer school virtually, ALL students and staff will work remotely on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Specific information related to each building and their learning plan will be communicated from your child’s principal. Thank you for your continued support of our schools and please be safe.

Dear Roller Families,

All in person learners are required to turn in their Chromebook or IPAD to their homeroom teachers on Friday May 28. They must return the device, the case and the charger.

We will be collecting Chromebooks and IPADS from all K-12 remote students at a drive through collection in front of the Jr./Sr. High School on one of the following three days: June 1st , June 2nd or June 3rd from 9AM through 11AM or 12PM through 2 PM.

We will assess any damage to the returned devices and send home invoices for that damage as needed. You are responsible for any and all damage to the device that your child was assigned. We will not accept any equipment that the parent or student buys on their own to replace a missing device. You must pay for the repair or cost to replace. The only exception is the IPAD chargers but only if you purchase the exact same make and model charger for IPADS only that you were issued. For example you need to purchase the Apple branded charger and charging cord for an IPAD and not a generic one.

Below are a list of the costs to repair certain items and what you can expect to pay if you are issued a bill for damage.

We will accept cash, check (made out to Steelton-Highspire School District) or by credit card by contacting Tara-Sue Myers in the business office.
