A Place To Be, a Loudoun therapeutic arts organization that offers unique and innovative programs while promoting inclusion and acceptance, invited me to join their Board of Directors!

APTB works under the premise that gifts come in many shapes and sizes. I’m proud of our mitigation efforts keeping Loudoun County Public Schools open and I will continue to support Dr. Z’s decision to require masks per CDC recs, with the best interest of students & staff top of mind.

Please note that I can’t speak for my colleagues, or the Board.

I was chosen by the voters of the Algonkian District to represent them on the Loudoun County School Board for four years. Unfortunately, a small fraction of residents have filed a petition to silence their voices.

This matter, therefore, is not simply about removing one elected official, but is an effort to take away the rights of thousands of citizens who chose me as their representative using a process that is intended to remove elected officials for neglect of duty, misuse of office, conviction of certain crimes, or incompetence in the performance of duties - none of which are remotely applicable to me.

Our democracy is at stake, as is the well-being of thousands Loudoun County Public Schools families. I look forward to fighting for the them and the voters who chose me, while serving out the rest of my term. My commitment to my community is stronger than ever.

Each year, the School Board (including our student members) hosts our state and federal legislators to share respective legislative priorities.
