Columbus Day Parade - Sterling, VA

On behalf of the 2021 Sterling Parade committee, we say THANK YOU to those who marched, viewed, supported, donated, and enjoyed this year's Parade.

My Sterling Park Community, those who donated via our GoFundMe, our special donation friends, our neighboring Knights of Columbus councils, and to the following business sponsors: Lawlor Realty, Cheers Sports, and Dr. Sheikh at Dominion Dental. We appreciate your support and hope the community recognizes your efforts.

For all our efforts, it's the smiles on your faces as the Parade rolls down Sterling Blvd that makes it all worth while.

Fall is in the air. And the season starts with the 40th running of the Sterling Columbus Day Parade followed by SterlingFest. Saturday, 9 October 2021.
Parade kicks off 10am from PVHS down Laurel to Blvd to Holly Avenue ending this year at Sterling Middle School.

Come see our Grand Marshall, the folks that make up Sterling Park Fire and Rescue. Our local heroes and first responders. See all the Fire Rescue trucks, listen to the Patriot Marching Band, cheer your local youth sports team, or wave to our funny clowns and local business owners.

What we still need is YOU. Lining the bvld, catching the candy, and supporting your local community. The Knights have done the rest in coordinating those efforts and putting this Parade forward.

CANCELED. Sterling's Annual (our 39th year) Columbus Day Parade to be held Saturday, 10 October 2020 HAS BEEN CANCELED.

We are heart broken but with the whole pandemic, group participation, crowds, etc we believe it was the best decision moving forward for the safety of all involved.

Please look for the Parade next year, our 40th year, as we celebrate Sterling on October 9th, 2021.

Sterling's Annual (our 38th year) Columbus Day Parade to be held Saturday, 12 October 2019. Parade starts 10am from PVHS and will end at Elks Lodge "The Barn" 401 W. Holly Ave.

Grand Marshall - The GRANT FAMILY - led by Charlie and Virginia for over 40 years of service to the Sterling Community thru GAM Printing and ministry services and Sterling Park Fire and Rescue as multi-generational volunteers. The GRANT FAMILY is found supporting our Fire and Rescue departments, as well as many other civic, sports, religious, and other communities thru their works.

Parts of Sterling Blvd and side streets will be closed at that time from Laurel down to Holly...... BE WARNED AND PLAN ACCORDINGLY!!

Sterling's Annual (our 37th year) Columbus Day Parade to be held Saturday, 06 October 2018. Parade starts 10am from PVHS and will end at Elks Lodge "The Barn" 401 W. Holly Ave.

Grand Marshall - Arlyn Black and family. Local and family owned business. The Black Family has been instrumental in much of the civic, sports, and business communities in Sterling Park in the early 70s and 80's up to today!!!

Parts of Sterling Blvd and side streets will be closed at that time!! BE WARNED!!!
