And the final push is here for Get Out The Vote. I made the rounds in my neighborhood, DISTRICT ⓵ , this weekend to support Doug Stingle for Portage County Board District 1.

It's really important to elect the candidates who show up, are willing to do the work, and follow the law. Doug is that candidate. His opponent... yeah, not so much.

We need to continue strong and effective leadership in District 1. Doug will be my successor and he has a great handle on the issues impacting our services and budget, and is committed to making Portage County is a great place to live, work, and thrive.

Thanks to the Stevens Point Journal for their coverage of our race. My opponent chose not to provide answers to questions about the critical issues facing Portage County and I think that speaks loudly to the difference between candidates in this race.
