KIDS CAREER DAY IS THIS SATURDAY! 🤠🐴🚒🔨

Join us Saturday, August 15th, from 8 AM–NOON at the Stigler Farmers Market for a special Kids Career Day!

We’re bringing together local people who have turned their skills, passions, and interests into careers so kids can meet them, ask questions, and get a glimpse into all the different things they could grow up to do right here in our community.

We’ll have local professionals and businesses representing careers like:

Every month, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library connects families through the simple joy of sharing a book. While each Local Program Partner serves a unique community, together we're part of a global movement that is helping inspire a love of reading in children across five countries.

In the United States, the program continues to grow at an incredible pace. Today, 1 in 6 children under the age of five receives an Imagination Library book in the mail each month, demonstrating the extraordinary impact Local Program Partners have in communities across the country.

We are proud to be the Haskell County Affiliate. We currently have 358 children aged birth to 5 years old receiving a book a month for FREE. We have graduated 214 children from the program since April, 2023.

Join us August 1st from 8am to 12pm. This year we are giving away 500 backpacks and other free items! Curl Up & Dye will be giving free hair cuts located inside their salon on Broadway!
