📍🗓️Today was a good day for a good day.☀️

Earlier today, my staff attended the “Pop Up for Peace”community event hosted by the Office of Violence Prevention, alongside many dedicated community partners.

This event was more than just an opportunity for neighbors to come together and enjoy a fun afternoon—it was a chance for residents to connect with one another, learn about valuable local resources, and strengthen community relationships. Events like these help create safer, healthier neighborhoods by bringing people together and making support services more accessible.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success and for your continued commitment to building a stronger community.

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, my office had the honor of attending the grand opening of the Pioneer Village at the San Joaquin Historical Museum. The turnout was amazing to see!🎉🥳

This beautifully restored village offers visitors the opportunity to step back in time and experience the rich history that helped shape San Joaquin County. It also serves as a valuable educational destination, welcoming students from across our region through the Valley Days program which provides local and regional students with opportunities for field trips, where local history comes to life through hands-on learning and exploration.

We encourage everyone to visit this wonderful community treasure!
