I am running for Wisconsin's New 96th Assembly District to create economic opportunity, restore a woman’s right to choose, protect our democracy, and fight for rural Wisconsin communities that are too often left behind.

Please join me in helping our neighbors get the resources they need and deserve.

Please join me in helping our neighbors get the resources they need and deserve.

In light of the federal government shutdown affecting FoodShare for Wisconsinites, I'm hosting a news conference and emergency food drive to highlight these impacts on our community, and the need for our community to come together to support our neighbors in need.

I'll be at Living Faith Food Pantry in Viroqua this Friday. Please feel free to stop by, say hello, drop off any food donations, and hear from food advocates across Vernon County on how they can use your support!

Hope to see you there!

Proud to continue the fight for equality.
Happy Women’s Equality Day

Today marks the day that women in the United States won the right to vote. It’s been over 100 years since Wisconsin became the very first state to ratify women’s right to vote into state law. We must continue to fight for equality for all of us - in the voting booth, in the doctor’s office, in the classroom and beyond.

Happy Women’s Equality Day!

Thank you to Dillon and those who continue to advocate for Aging and Disability Resources!

Thank you to Dillon and those who continue to advocate for Aging and Disability Resources!

This week I had the honor of opening the Aging and Disability Resource Center’s Legislative Meeting, where County constituents shed light on how ADRC services—including specialized transportation, meal services, and benefit navigation—contribute to healthy, connected, and purposeful lives.

The proposed federal cuts to Medicaid and other supports for low-income households fail to consider the fallout from restricting acccess to these programs. The same goes for chronically underfunded State programs like congregate dining: underinvestments in the safety net bring crises that, in fact, demand far greater public funds than preventative efforts. More importantly, our neighbors suffer when they cannot access healthcare, long-term care, meals, and transportation.

My deepest thanks to Representative Tara Johnson (Tara for Assembly), Representative Jill Billings, and Senator Brad Pfaff for showing up to listen and respond to constituent needs.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to join a meaningful roundtable discussion in La Crosse County alongside Representative Jill Billings and Senator Brad Pfaff. We listened to powerful personal stories from community members about aging and disability services.

The message was clear: Aging and Disability Resource Centers are vital to the well-being and independence of so many in our communities. Continued investment in these services is essential.

Thank you to the La Crosse County ADRC for hosting this important conversation and for the work you do every day.

Yesterday was full of wonderful stops throughout the 96th! I had the honor of attending the Kickapoo Valley Reserve 25th Anniversary and presenting a proclamation from the state, alongside Brad Pfaff, celebrating the incredible work done.

What a special day in the Driftless! I had the honor of joining community members in celebrating the 25th anniversary and rededication of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve — a true Wisconsin treasure.

It was a privilege to present a legislative citation alongside Senator Brad Pfaff, recognizing the Reserve’s rich history, natural beauty, and the many people who’ve worked to preserve it for future generations.

Here’s to 25 more years of stewardship, education, and outdoor adventure! 🌿
