It's all about the sunshine today but tomorrow looks messy! By 9 AM Tuesday most of SE Wisconsin will be under some snow. Could reduce visibilities at times with some slushy roads for at least the later part of the morning commute. #readywx

We continue to track a strong storm system that should bring accumulating snow to Northeast Wisconsin Tuesday... before an eventual change-over to rain. Several inches of snow are possible. I'll have a LIVE update here on Facebook around 9:15 p.m. tonight (Sunday evening).

Tricky Travel Possible Tuesday As Next WeatherMaker Approaches

Our next weathermaker will move in on Tuesday and may impact some holiday travels.

(WLUK) -- It will be a quiet end to our weekend, but our Next Weathermaker is moving in on a typical holiday travel day. We'll see some sun early today, but there will be an increase in cloud by the afternoon. Our high will be 44 degrees. We could see a sprinkle or flurry tonight and a low of 28 deg...

If you'll be driving anywhere prior to Thanksgiving, you'll want to keep an eye on the Tuesday-Wednesday forecast. The two medium-range models I like to use are in surprisingly good agreement on our next big weathermaker... which should begin to impact the area this Tuesday. Snow showers look to overspread eastern WI Tuesday morning with a change to rain later in the day. Still a few days away, but it looks like we may see 1-3" of snow on the front end with around 0.5"- 1.0" of rain Tuesday PM thru Wednesday. Continue to check for updates in the coming days.

WISCONSIN :

IT’S SNOWING...QUICK EVERYONE IN THE DITCH! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Ok, but seriously now is a good time to remind yourself and young drivers of the SNOW RULES of the Road.
-SLOOOOW DOWN! We cannot say this enough.
-Increase Following Distance
-Increase Stopping Time
-No Distracted Driving
-4 Wheel Drive does not mean 4 Wheel Stop
-Clear the snow completely off your windshield for visibility
-Use extreme caution when turning or taking curves
-Drive like you are taking Grandma to church with a pot of hot soup on her lap

Oh and did we mention SLOW DOWN...
Failure to follow these rules may cause your vehicle to go crashedy-crash on the slickedy-skick.
Public Safety is our Priority.

Patrick's 2020-21 winter forecast: Colder and snowier than average

(WLUK) -- Every winter in Wisconsin has cold and snow. The key to any seasonal forecast is to put that in perspective. What is this winter going to like compared to average? Gun Deer Opening Forecast Update: The GFS weather model wants to bring a mix of rain and snow on Saturday morning. Weather loves to slow down in long-range forecasting, so I wouldn't be surprised if the rain/snow mix doesn't slow down until late in the day. The longer the front takes track through the area, the warmer Saturday will likely be.

Low laying areas are flooded or are at high risk for flooding today and tonight. Sheboygan county at this time is experiencing this currently and this will continue through the rest of today. The Sheboygan River and Onion River and Pigeon Rivers are rain swollen and should be avoided in the low laying areas..I would not advise using the hiking trails near the Pigeon River at this time..they are partially flooded at Evergreen Park and The Sheboygan River is currently close to flooding the walking paths near the 14th and 8th Street bridges..so avoid those areas.
