If you weren't able to attend the recent presentation on the future of the former Army Engine site, or if you'd like to continue the conversation, I encourage you to attend one of these upcoming Neighborhood Association meetings.
This week's District 7 meeting is a great opportunity for District 7 residents, but I'd also encourage residents from Districts 2 and 6—or anyone interested in the future of this important property—to come out and listen, ask questions, and share your thoughts. This redevelopment will have an impact on our entire community, so the more voices at the table, the better.
I hope to see many of you there!
Here is the July schedule for Stratford's Neighborhood Association Meetings.
Point Stratford Renewal, the private development team overseeing the revitalization of the former Army Engine Plant, will be at several upcoming meetings. They hosted a community meeting on June 29 that approximately 400 residents attended. They discussed what’s next for the site and gathered input and ideas from the community, and want to continue that conversation with residents.
Point Stratford Renewal received over 1,000 survey responses to learn how the community envisions this site. If you haven't completed the survey already, you can still complete it by visiting https://www.pointstratford.com/
