Voting early? Here's what to expect at the Baldwin Center.
1. Check in, then print and sign your name in the early-voting log.
2. Mark your paper ballot privately. Staff can explain the process or help if you need it.
3. Put your ballot straight into the tabulator. There's no envelope this year.

You'll be asked for ID, but it doesn't have to be a photo ID or driver's license. In most cases, a voter without ID can sign a statement instead. Some first-time voters who registered by mail have different requirements.

This election we have an opportunity to have five fantastic, hardworking people representing Stratford! Over the next two weeks we have the opportunity to elect two great candidates, Carolann Reid for State Senate and Mandy Kilmartin for State Representative , and re-elect H Keyon Gaston, Kaitlyn Shake for State Representative, and Joe Gresko for State Representative.

What a first day of early voting! Carolann Reid for State Senate, joined Kaitlyn Shake for State Representative and Joe Gresko for State Representative at the Baldwin Center today as early voting opened in Stratford.

Early voting continues every day through Sunday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m.–6 p.m., with extended hours of 8 a.m.–8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27, and Thursday, Oct. 29. Baldwin Center, 1000 West Broad Street.

Senator Chris Murphy is supporting State Representative Kaitlyn Shake’s reelection campaign, recognizing her work during her first term in the Connecticut General Assembly.

Murphy’s endorsement highlights Shake’s efforts to represent her constituents and respond to federal funding cuts and policy changes affecting Connecticut residents.

Election Day is November 3, 2026. Early voting runs October 19 through November 1 at the Baldwin Center in Stratford.

We are live right now at Town Hall Green for the No Kings rally. Seeing so many neighbors peacefully standing together to defend democracy is incredible. When our families and values are under attack, our community pushes back.

We will be out here until 2 PM. Come down and join the crowd. We are making our voices heard loudly and clearly.
