The American Red Cross has opened a second round of financial assistance for households impacted by the 2025 Washington floods. The first phase has now closed, and this new phase will launch in April 2026 to support survivors who are still facing recovery challenges.

Who is eligible:
This assistance is intended for households whose pre disaster primary residence was majorly damaged or destroyed, consistent with FEMA damage assessment guidelines, who are still facing barriers to their recovery.
Please note:
• People who already received Red Cross financial assistance may still be eligible if they have ongoing, unmet recovery needs or additional barriers to recovery.
• Assistance is not a loan and does not need to be repaid, and it does not affect FEMA or other government benefits.
How people can apply:
• Apply online (link below), or
• Apply in person at one of the enrollment sites and times listed on the Red Cross website (link below). In person enrollment is encouraged for people who may face barriers accessing services online.
The website is available in both English and Spanish, and they will accommodate both English and Spanish speakers at in person sites to help applicants navigate the process.
