Many people have asked they can donate to James Johnson and his family.

We were able to get sizes today. Donations may be brought directly to the police department.

That says a lot about James Johnson’s character.

Even after going through something devastating like losing his house in a fire, he still chose to do the honest thing and turn in a wallet full of cash to the police. That shows:
• Integrity — doing what is right even when no one is watching
• Honesty — not taking money that wasn’t his
• Strong morals — hardship didn’t change his values
• Selflessness — putting someone else’s loss ahead of his own struggle

It’s a powerful example of how character is revealed in difficult times.

Today at Sumiton Wal-Mart we found a bag full of baby items and medical supplies. Someone definitely needs this bag.

Sumiton Christian Schools had the honor of hosting Senior Trooper Corble with the Alabama State Troopers.

Trooper Corble is a 17 year veteran and is the Troop E Coordinator. He spoke to our children today about the dangers of driving while under the influence, consequences of the decisions we make everyday and how they can dramatically affect us and the ones we love.

Thank you Trooper Corble for your wonderful speech and dedicating your time to keeping our kids safe.

Missing cat: she belongs at Vapors 4 you in Sumiton. She is very friendly and someone may have picked her up. The owners are begging you to bring her back. If you are not comfortable returning her to Vapors 4 you, please drop her off at the police department and we will get her back to her family, no questions asked.
