Out knocking on doors again today with the team. As proof that I’m all in for solving problems, I was knocking doors and ran into Mr. Haldi who was about to unload 20 pieces of sod.

For me, This race is about taking care of home…and loading sod is a darn good workout and I love helping folks.

A year ago I decided that I was going to leave the Dorchester County Council job that I love and people that I love working with. In my sixteen years on council, we have seen a lot of challenges and we have accomplished some amazing things here working together. But, like many of you, I am frustrated. And I’ve seen firsthand the decades of policy failures of our state government and our federal government and how is it affecting us negatively here at home. I’ve decided to run for US Congress for a few reasons: Affordability for our families, defending our values, prioritizing infrastructure, and protecting our natural resources. It really comes down to this: who has the actual experience and proven results for years to deliver for us here at home on the help we need? I’ve unapologetically led on vital issues like building parks, roads, and libraries but I don’t get things done alone. This isn’t about me. It’s about us. This is a team sport. And we have to build coalitions to win as a team. My priority will be to help us take care of home.  I would love the opportunity to earn your support.

🚨Major Policy Alert! 🚨

I’ve decided that if I’m fortunate enough to serve you in Congress, one of the first things I’m gonna do is propose legislation to bring back the old gas can spouts that don’t leak like a sieve versus these ridiculous contraptions that are absolutely one of the dumbest ideas in the history of mankind.
(FWIW you can get the old ones for cheap on Amazon. This is just the backup can I have today.) ⛽️😀

The affordability crisis in America is real. We all feel it. It’s a political buzzword for some. For me it’s personal. I watched this firsthand helping families finance homes for two decades and watched the American dream become out of reach for many, especially our young people. There are several factors we need to address to correct it because the grossly wasteful spending from 2020-2024, rampant fraud, and incompetent handling of rates from Powell’s Fed in 2021 and 2022 helped exacerbate the issue. Let’s get into it. And I’d love your vote on Tuesday June 9th!

One of the most rewarding things about any campaign is the people. This campaign is special. We have some outstanding young people that are helping our campaign who are passionate about learning and passionate about the future of their country. Six months ago I did not know who Fletcher and Steven were. My daughter Katie Jo met Fletcher on a road trip to Auburn. Fletcher and Steven are both here from Nashville helping with the campaign along with both of my girls and several other friends. It’s really great to see our young people participating in the process and preparing to take a leadership role. Thank y’all for your help. I am honored to know you and I will always appreciate you.
