Why Building Code Inspections Matter? Building codes are there for a reason: they help safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of the people living in the structures. These codes, shaped by local, state, and national authorities, cover everything from the strength of materials to fire safety measures and electrical systems. When inspections highlight deficiencies, they can result in expensive repairs or create unsafe living conditions. For instance, data shows that homes with code violations can incur repair costs averaging 20% higher than those without.

Good Evening, I hope your day went well. This is two different versions of the same project. This project is was a 2,950 heated square feet custom residence. It features 4 bedrooms, 4-1/2 bath, with an office, formal dining room, butler's pantry, three-car garage and a 542 square feet unfinished bonus room. The plan includes tray ceilings in all of the bedrooms, office, dining room, kitchen, and great room. The master suite has a huge 7' x 12'8" wet room with a freestanding tub and custom shower. It also boasts access to the utility/laundry room. This plan has 12' ceiling heights in all of the common rooms and 10' ceiling heights elsewhere. This residence ended up having 4,251 square feet under roof and has painted brick with timber brick lintels for its exterior finish. This completed plan set included the floor plan, exterior elevations, cross sections of the garage/bonus room and through the main portion of the house, roof plan, electrical plan, and all applicable details and was completed in January.
I included the two different styles of rendering for contrast and to ask a question. The rendered front elevation is the actual front elevation with landscape added to bring the render to life. While the two point perspective brings the building to life in simulated 3d. My question is, which of the two styles looks the best? Leave a comment as to your preference as to which looks the best.
If you are needing drafting/design plans for your upcoming project and/or if you are needing help with your construction project with building code inspections/plans reviews; don't hesitate to call of text me at (769) 250-0958 or shoot me an email at [email protected]. I accept both residential and commercial projects, large or small. And I will give you a cost proposal prior to starting your project. Y'all be safe and have a great night.
