🚨 The NEW Big Walnut Local Schools website is officially LIVE! 🦅✨

After months of planning, building, testing, revising, fixing, tweaking, (too much) troubleshooting, and definitely a few too many browser refreshes… we’re excited to finally share the new digital home for Big Walnut Local Schools!

The new site features:
📱 A cleaner, mobile-friendly design
📰 Easier access to news, calendars, and important updates
🏫 Dedicated websites for every school building (with more simple urls!)
🤖 New AI-powered “Ask the Eagle” helpers
📸 Updated photos, videos, and district information
🔎 Improved navigation to help families find what they need faster

As with any major launch, there may still be a few small hiccups as we continue polishing things behind the scenes, but we’re excited for our students, families, staff, and community to begin exploring the new site today.

School may be out for the summer, but we’re still smiling looking back at General Rosecrans Elementary’s Field Day! ☀️💦

The temperatures were soaring, but that didn’t slow anyone down. From bounce houses and parachute games to tug-of-war battles and inflatable obstacle courses, our Golden Eagles packed the field with nonstop energy and fun! 🦅

A perfect reminder that some of the best school memories are made outside the classroom. ❤️💛

☀️ That’s a wrap on the 2025-26 school year, Big Walnut! 🦅

From the first day of school to the final bell today, this year was packed with learning, laughter, memories, championships, performances, field trips, spirit days, graduations, and countless moments that made us proud to be Eagles. ❤️💛

Now…it’s officially SUMMER BREAK! 🌴🏖️😎

Enjoy the time off, soak up the sunshine, make some memories, and recharge for another great year ahead.

And don’t get too comfortable…back-to-school information will be here before you know it. 👀📚

Tiny graduates. Giant personalities. 🎓❤️💛

Today’s Early Learning Center Class of 2039 Graduation Celebration may have been moved indoors thanks to the rain, but the smiles, waves, happy tears, and proud families filled the halls of Harrison Street from wall to wall. ☔🦅

This was the final ELC graduation celebration inside the historic 100-year-old Harrison St. building, and our youngest Golden Eagles made sure it was one to remember. From parade walks through the gym to shy waves and huge grins, today was packed with moments families will never forget.

Tomorrow marks the last day of classes for Big Walnut students. What a beautiful way to help close the chapter on another incredible school year. 🎉

The wind tried to crash the party yesterday at Hylen Souders Elementary… but the fun had other plans. 🌬️☀️

Some of the bigger inflatables and bounce houses made a quick move indoors, and Souders students kept right on bouncing, climbing, kicking, sliding, tugging, and laughing their way through Field Day! 🏃🎯⚽🏰

Just TWO more days until summer break officially begins! ❤️💛🦅

From Eagles' Last Flight to graduation night, the Big Walnut High School Class of 2026 filled these halls, fields, stages, classrooms, and stadiums with memories that will last forever.

Now, it’s time for their next chapter. 🦅
