Dear MAGA,

Don’t call it Conservatism. We are the ones upholding the Constitution and the rule of law, not trying to destroy it.

Don’t call it Patriotism. Our families fought in all our Nation’s wars to preserve our freedoms and those of others.

Don’t call it Smart. We place our confidence in those who have diligently prepared themselves for their chosen careers, not in cheap bullies.

And please don’t call it Christian. You were never promised wealth and an easy life. Your place is with the needy, the broken, and the stranger.

We are Americans, as much as any of you. We are slow to anger, but have risen to defend this country from enemies, both foreign and domestic, time and time again. If you think we will lay down and accept your rule, you will be surprised. We won’t let it happen.
