🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: Interstate 81 northbound will be reduced to one lane between Exit 78 (U.S. Route 11/Onondaga Nation/Nedrow) and Exit 1A (East Glen Ave) in the City of Syracuse, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Saturday, May 30, and then daily from Monday, June 1, through Saturday, June 6, to facilitate paving.

🚧 Bear Street is so back. 👏

The roadway, between Sunset Avenue and Solar Street, in the City of Syracuse has reopened to traffic. 🎊

This section of Bear Street has been closed for demolition and reconstruction of the Bear Street bridge.

🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: Interstate 81 southbound will be reduced to one lane between Exit 17 (S State St/S Salina St/Brighton Ave) and the Interstate 481 on-ramp in the City of Syracuse, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily beginning Thursday, May 28, and continuing through Saturday, May 30; and then again on Monday, June 1, and Tuesday, June 2, for paving operations.

🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: Interstate 81 will be reduced to one lane weekdays, beginning Wednesday, May 27, through Thursday, July 2, at the following locations in the City of Syracuse, to facilitate bridge work:

🔶 Interstate 81 northbound between the Interstate 690 on-ramp and Exit 23 (Park Street/Hiawatha Blvd) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

🔶 Interstate 81 southbound between Exit 5B-5A-4B (Hiawatha Blvd/Destiny USA/Bear St) and Exit 20 (Franklin St/West St) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Hills Building outreach center will be closed today, Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. The outreach center will resume normal business hours on Wednesday, May 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Paving the way for progress. 🚧 Crews on Syracuse's Northside, near the Inner Harbor, are milling the existing asphalt on Bear Street, setting the stage for a smoother, safer roadway. Other work happening in that area includes installing curb and sidewalks, guiderail and installing traffic signals. 🚦
