This was a great canvassing event! Proud to have the support of the Tacoma Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 31 and an added bonus of supporting my friend, Olgy Diaz for City Council. Make sure to get those ballots in!!

I had a brand new (for me) Metro Parks experience last night. I took a plunge at Titlow Beach! It was an amazing experience. This campaign has been eye-opening to see so many different groups of folks using our parks in cool and different ways. I'm definitely going to do this again! Maybe Owen Beach next time!

A surreal moment at lunch today. I voted for myself in a real-life election. For those that've known me a long time - this is a dream realized. One that I've been working towards a long long time. I could not have gotten to where I am today without the unconditional support of my friends and family. You all propped me up when I needed it most. No matter what happens on November 7th - my desire to make our community an even better place will never be diminished. Love you all so much. Go Tacoma!

Apparently, campaigning with a toddler means giving speeches with an elephant lovey in your hand. It really helps with speech anxiety. I see why Milo likes it. 😀
