Joint Statement between the Leon County Democratic Progressive Caucus & Florida State University Progressive Victory Chapter.

We stand with Tallahassee SDS as they are being attacked by the Florida State University Administration. No student should be punished for using their first amendment rights to fight back against R**e Culture on Campus.

We demand that the FSU Administration do more to fight back against Sexual Violence rather than silence the students who have done more to protect FSU students than the administration.

Honored to announce that we have proudly endorsed County Commissioner Rick Minor for reelection to District 3 on the Board of County Commission.

His public service on strengthening the local economy, protecting the environment, and ensuring transparent, ethical government is a big reason for this endorsement.

Before joining the County Commission in 2018, he served as CEO of Second Harvest of the Big Bend, where the organization expanded its food distribution and helped tens of thousands of people across the region each month.

He also served as Chief of Staff in the Tallahassee Mayor’s Office, where he managed city projects and handled intergovernmental and legislative work.

What Loranne Ausley needs to do is stop calling herself progressive in this race when she is the least progressive running for Mayor of Tallahassee besides Michael Shawn Foust.

We are not shocked to see mailers from the Ausley Campaign, which is half the reason we knew we wouldn't be endorsing her, because she is known for participating in attacks like these. False ads, misleading ads and just all around unhealthy ads.

Political Polarization is at its core right now, and we don't need any candidates entertaining it, so to the Loranne Ausley Campaign, misleading voters and progressives has made the Executive Board decide that we will do our own ads, our own phone banks and our own text message pursuits against these blatantly false attacks on our endorsed candidate.

To the Leon County Voters, make sure to do your research on each candidate because Loranne Ausley during this race has talked more about working with the Republicans than standing up for the working people of this City.

🚨 Attention Leon County Progressives...

We are at it again to say that our endorsed candidate PJ Perez for Tallahassee City Commission, Seat 3 doesn't support AI Data Centers, but has been the biggest fighter against them in the Seat 3 Race.

We are sad to hear that ads, mailers and etc ) have been used against candidates such as PJ Perez, Talethia Edwards and Jeremy Matlow and these attacks coming from Gainesville, Florida.

It has come to our attention that mailers are being sent out under the impression that it was sent out from a "progressive" organization. This is false.

The mailers shown below are bought and paid for by a PAC called "Vote Differently", this PAC is chaired by a Republican Political Consultant named William Stafford Jones, based in Gainesville, Florida.

Do NOT let the Republicans trick you with lies and an effort to undermine Leon County Voters, that won't work.
