Individuals wanting to instruct the Fire Officer I, Fire Officer II or Fire Department Safety Officer: Health and Safety Officer Certification Courses must attend a Train-the-Trainer. Another class has been scheduled:

May 28, 2015 - Prattville Regional Training Center - 1:00-5:00 pm

Tallassee Fire Department ETC will be hosting a Fire Inspector II course 4-20-15 through 4-24-15. Please go to the AFC website to register. This course does have fees involved through the AFC.

Please remember to call the AFC at 1-800-241-2467 if you would like to take Hazmat Tech. The class will meet February 21, 22, 28 and March 1 and 7 beginning each day at 8am. Books and course materials will be provided.

Tallassee Fire Department will be hosting a Apparatus Operator: Aerial Class on January 24-25 and February 7-8. This course will be taught over 4 ten hour days and will be taught at Tallassee Training Center.

If you would like to attend the Hazardous Materials Technician class in February, please call 1-800-241-2467. Please let them know you would like to register for the fee waived class in Tallassee.

Today, Tallassee Fire Department received approval for a fee waived HAZMAT Technician course to be taught at our Training Center beginning February 21, 2015 and ending March 7, 2015. This course will be taught only on Saturdays and Sundays. Registration details to follow.
