In our vineyard past after two years of labor, fruit began growing on the branches. We were then advised to cut half of the fruit off of every vine.

The plants energy was being exhausted by going to too much fruit. Keeping it would severely limit all of its quality. In order to produce extraordinary fruit you have to focus the plants energy in less directions by cutting half and dropping it to the ground.

This is true for regarding the busyness of life most families find themselves with. What do you need to say no to that is good, that would make people wonder what you’re doing? Because you have a vision for something stronger for the future of your family, that you are willing to sacrifice some good things to cultivate stronger fruit in your home and future legacy.
