🎤 Zibby oversees communications and marketing for the libraries and works to make sure students and faculty are aware of all the USF Libraries’ amazing resources.
🐋 When not at work, Zibby takes every opportunity she can to travel, her favorite places being those with amazing vegetarian cuisine where she can also SCUBA dive with her favorite ocean critters like octopus, sharks, penguins, whales, rays, and pufferfish. 🐡

📚 Ginny is a library services specialist at the Tampa library and works to make sure our patrons have everything they need for success. You’ll often find Ginny at the front desk, where she helps with...pretty much anything!
🥳 Ginny is active on the library events committee, USF staff senate, and also organizes monthly get togethers for us to get to know each other outside of the library.
🦐 Ginny really loves food, so it’s understandable that most of the get-togethers she organizes are around a dining table. We love getting to explore new restaurants thanks to her!

📚 Andrew is an assistant librarian at the Tampa library. He specializes in social sciences with a focus on anthropology as well as liaising with the School of Information.

🌌 Our libraries provide access to over 2.6 million print and eBooks, 73,000 eJournal subscriptions, and 30.8 million digital images.
🌴 We support cross-disciplinary research as the home of the USF Herbarium and Florida Environment & Natural History collections.

Good! Because our new Tampa Through Time Portal is ready to transport you back in time. It is a no-cost, interactive resource that merges archives, digital tools, and advanced mapping to allow users to immerse themselves “beyond the page” and deeper into the city’s rich history.
Visitors to the site can also experience history through multi-faceted walking trails around the Tampa Bay area. These currently include a USF Greenways tour (featured in this post – isn’t it lovely?), a walking tour of Tampa’s famed cigar factories, and a “Then and Now” of Ybor City dwellings.

We’re so excited to be the new home of the USF Herbarium, one of the largest herbaria in the United States and the second largest in Florida. 🍃
The USF Herbarium is known for its rich collection of vascular plants, algae, bryophytes, and lichens. The collection has over 270,000 specimens and more than 10,000 books and related resources!
