Cass has an eye for detail and a servant’s heart, and we know she’ll do an awesome job helping every guest feel welcome and well cared for.

In 2009, we were invited as a family to a mission trip to the DR. Life-changing doesn’t begin to describe it.

Our kids had the opportunity to serve children their own age. We walked into their homes and saw firsthand what they were experiencing.

We’ll spend thousands on a family vacation, but how about a family missions trip? Just thinking out loud, but I’d be glad to put something together if enough people were interested.

This week, Lynn, Lynneah, and Ryan are at Jenness Park.

Lynn handles camp registration, including scholarships, and serves as the Mercantile Manager. She works remotely with the team there to help campers and leaders have an amazing experience where they can take their next step with Jesus.

Lynneah will be working in the Mercantile and kitchen, and Ryan will be visiting churches in Northern California with a group of WOL staff and missionaries.

Pray God gives them strength and wisdom for the days ahead.

Wrapping up an awesome week in Michigan!

So thankful for time with family, a beautiful day on Mackinac Island, long walks, quiet time in the woods, and even a little preparation for deer hunting this fall. There’s something about slowing down, being outside, and spending time with people you love that is so good for you.

Now we’re heading home for a few days before our next trip to help some dear friends who are hurting.

And we can’t wait to see our kiddos. 🙂
