We are taking an unscheduled detour from our Galatians Study to reflect on a theme we often discuss which is at the heart of saving faith. Our emphasis will be on how to overcome resistance to finish well in the faith. This is only a one week detour but it will make for a poignant conversation as we consider what it means to live for Jesus in a world that is hostile to our faith.

A message from Pastor D For Easter Weekend at Living Faith:
Greetings Living Faith Family and Friends,
Well saints, God willing, we have a full weekend planned for remembering the death and celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Here's an outline of what's planned:
1) Good Friday Gathering via Zoom
We are looking forward to a grace-filled time of fellowship and remembrance on this Friday, April 2 at 7PM ET. Here are a few details of what we're planning:
- Vibrant praise and worship
- Scripture and prayer time
- Testimonies
- Breakouts
- Lord's Supper
- The preached word
For Lord's Supper, please give prayerful consideration to what you will use for elements, something simple is usually a good rule to follow. The Lord's Supper is a spiritual meal in the presence of Christ and the gathering of his people. Though we will be connected digitally, we will very much be together. Especially during the Lord's Supper moment, lets turn on our cameras so that we can have an even better sense of being together.

2) Easter Flier Distribution to Our Neighbors
It was such a tremendous blessing to meet our neighbors during Knock and Pray over the past couple of weekends. This Saturday morning we would like to go back out and simply handout fliers to our Easter services. If you are available for 1 - 2 hours on Saturday morning, please arrive at the church by 9:30AM and we should be done with handing them out by 11:30AM or so. Please look for Amanda Maynor when you arrive at the church on Saturday.
3) Easter Services on Sunday!
We are so excited to gather on Sunday morning to celebrate our Lord's resurrection in two scheduled services!
(A) In-person on the lawn at 9AM Sunday at the Church
We plan to begin right at 9AM and we will be practicing social distancing and due to the potential crowd we are asking that all wear masks even though we will be outside. There will be special activities for the small kids. Please bring your lawn chairs and we'll also have chairs available for those who don't have them.
(B) Virtual service online at 11AM
This will be accessible as usual via livingbyfaith.us/online or directly via YouTube.
Please pray that many will be drawn to Christ through the proclamation of the gospel through praise, preaching, and all the ways the victory our Lord secured will be pronounced.
Looking forward to celebrating with you what all heaven knows by direct experience: Jesus is alive!

His death is applied to us, and as a result, the old, sinful nature has suffered a mortal blow. Romans 6:3-4 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
