PSFC - Youth Empowerment Service is a 501 (c) (3) organization that works with Monroe County youth ages 14-24 to offer career guidance and assistance through workshops, seminars, job shadowing, mentorships, and work experience. Our mission is to help our youth determine their career goal for the future, establish their future path, and help them in the pursuit of their career. We offer a 9-month p

rogram called Project Success that meets twice a month for career guidance, leadership, employability, resume writing, mock interview, and teambuilding seminars. The program will culminate in a mentorship/job shadowing opportunity, and eligible participants will be enrolled in our Summer Work Experience Program. SYEP is for academically or economically disadvantaged youth to gain work experience for 6 weeks in the summer, learning employability skills firsthand while they earn minimum wage for some summer or back-to-school spending money. Applications for both Project Success and Summer Work Experience Program are available at the PA CareerLink in Tannersville.
