My sweet Chandler, his group will be going to the outside pre-release cages. He likes to drag it out and still wants a bottle lol

Feeding time with little Pebbles! It never ends……feeding , sleep, p**p, clean cages.

A raccoon does not just find food. It files the address.

The real detail is this.

Researchers found raccoons can remember solutions to tasks for at least three years, which explains why one lucky porch visit can become a seasonal appointment.

That masked little face is attached to a very serious mental map.

Porches, trash lids, pet bowls, garden gates, loose screens, soft-hearted humans, all of it can become part of the route. A raccoon is not wandering randomly through the night. It is checking old notes.

Their paws help too. Packed with sensitive nerves, they can test, twist, pry, and investigate like tiny burglars wearing gloves they stole from a magician.

So when one comes back months later, it is not luck.

It remembered the place, the pattern, and the possibility.

The bandit mask is cute, but the memory behind it is the real getaway plan.

Meet Bandito. I was worried about him when he came in, he didn’t cry, barely moved. After some sub q fluids and a little Nutri-Cal on his gums and tongue he started to come around. And today he is drinking formula and a little more vocal!

We are a full house of babies here at the rescue! And this doesn’t include all the baby opossums. We go through a lot of formula, food, p*e pads, and other supplies every day! We run strictly on donations to keep things running smoothly, the state does not help fund us in any way. So we ask for your help! Venmo: 7279160631
