Here is an unsanitized version of what I actually sent to the Taunton Daily Gazette.

I am grateful for all the support - both financial and volunteer - we received for our campaign to bring transparency and the concerns of neighborhoods to City Hall. It is important to recognize that our campaign did not have access to the taxpayer-funded communication channels and out-of-state dark money PACS not included in the OCPF report but which our opponent took full advantage of. Those resources likely totalled well over $50,000 in value not included in campaign filings. The use of the dark money PACS, highly unusual in a local mayor's race remain the subject of a campaign finance violation complaint.

Challenger Estele Borges outspent incumbent Taunton Mayor Shaunna O'Connell and lost in 2025, an unusual combination. What both sides say about it. See link below ⬇️

Congratulations to our Sophomore Design & Visual Communication shop, which was the overall winner of our recent Career Showcase! DVC competed against our 18 other shops and was chosen as the overall winner! Today DVC celebrated with an ice cream party! Congrats to all involved!

School Closed Tuesday, January 27

Student safety is our top priority. Some sidewalks and bus stop areas need more time to be safe after the storm. We want to make sure all students can travel to school safely.

Because of this closure, the last day of school for students in Grades 1–11 is now June 23.

When it is safe, please help by clearing sidewalks and bus stop areas. This helps students and staff return safely. Thank you for your support and partnership. Please stay safe and warm.
