UP TO 4 MEMBERS PER TEAM. ($200 ENTRY FEE)-$150TOWARDS ENTRY-$50 TOWARDS SIDEPOTS. Hunt begins at 12 noon on the Saturday of the contest. Weigh-in is the following Sunday at 12:30PM SHARP at Taylor SPJST Hall. Failure to make Weigh-in by 12:30PM sharp will
result in disqualification.
**RULES**
1) Must follow all county, state and federal hunting laws and Texas parks and wildlife rule and guidelines! (This include having proper hunting license) any game violations will result in immediate disqualification.
2) All entry fees must be paid in cash. No refunds will be given after 12:00pm (noon) on Saturday (official start of the tournament).
3) 4 members maximum per team.
4) Every Team members must be present at weigh-in.
5) All members must hunt together at all times. NO SPLITTING UP!
6) All animals must be harvested between 12:00Noon Saturday and 12:30Noon Sunday. (Animals will be checked for freshness), Animals must be harvested by your entered team only.
7) No trapped, snared, caged-raised or frozen animals, No road kill, no hunting baited areas (live or dead) No use Air Craft or Dogs will be allowed- Will result in disqualification.
8) Giving, exchanging or accepting any animal from ANYBODY during the hunt will result in immediate disqualification.
9) The entire team does not have to hunt the whole time (i.e. some can go to sleep) but all hunters must be on same property and must travel together to hunting destinations.
10) Thermal and night IS allowed
11) Tie breaker will be team first to weigh in.
12) You may hunt anywhere in the state of Texas, on private land where you have permission, and on state land where varmint hunting legal. you may have land owner with you while on his land, but landowner may not shoot.
13) Teams are responsible for there own hunting land during the hunt and the proper disposal of their animals after the hunt. Do not leave caucuses on the SPJST Hall Property, in dumpster, please leave all kill in back of vehicle/trailer. DO NOT LEAVE ANY BLOOD STAINS ON THE PARKING LOT!!
14) Decision of judges is FINAL! (judges will be hunting in contest) judges reserve the right to refuse the acceptance of entries/contestants.
15) RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT FURTHER NOTIFICATION.
16) Team captain is responsible to provide all rules to each team member.
