🦌 Venado Grande: A Bell County Deer-Hunting Tradition! Supporting Bell county and a great event!

It’s that time of year again, Bell County! 🦌🌾 The annual Venado Grande Deer Contest has become a favorite local tradition, bringing hunters together to celebrate some of the finest whitetails harvested right here in Central Texas.

The contest was launched in 2004 by Adam Lucksinger and has grown into a major event, with nearly 800 entries across more than 25 categories—giving hunters young and old a chance to show off their hard-earned trophies. (Tex Appeal Magazine⁠)

More than just a contest, Venado Grande celebrates Texas hunting heritage, good sportsmanship, family, fellowship, and the great outdoors.

So, Bell County hunters…check those trail cameras, sight in those rifles, and get ready! 🎯
